Recommendations for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009:
As Congress puts the finishing touches on the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, and President Obama prepares to sign the economic stimulus package into law in the next two weeks, the country's attention will quickly turn to implementation, as well as other recovery measures. Federal, state, and local governments will need to move quickly to put new programs into action and ensure assistance reaches individuals and communities in need while being held accountable for the spending of public funds.
