Advance at Work provides free, personalized services to help working individuals like you earn more, get promotions and access benefits. You and your career coach will plan for long-term career advancement and access higher paying positions in healthcare, retail, security and other high-growth opportunities.
You may be eligible to enroll in Advance at Work if you:
- › Have been working for more than 6 months
- › Can take time to meet regularly for a year with a professional career coach and to engage in job-related training, research and networking over several months
- › Are committed to taking steps to advance in your career
- › Make less than $14 an hour or $560 a week
- › Receive no public cash assistance

- › Workshops throughout the five boroughs on using the internet to find the right job, asking for a raise, networking, interviewing, and more
