Seedco’s Executive Director Tara Colton moderated the keynote panel at the NYC Employment and Training Coalition’s annual Policy Forum on January 31st. The panel discussed trends, challenges and opportunities amidst the changing national picture for workforce development as part of the day-long forum, “Advancing Advocacy Through Partnerships in Uncertain Times.” The panelists — Melinda Mack of NYATEP, Mary Clagett of Jobs for the Future, Ben Seigel of the 21st Century Cities Initiative and Anand Vimalassery of Ellipsis LLC — shared their thoughts on the path forward for workforce development given potentially significant changes at the federal level.

Tara is a member of the NYCETC Board Executive Committee and Co-Chair of the Coalition’s Legislative, Policy and Advocacy Committee, and reinforced that Seedco’s deep commitment to serving individuals and families in need across the country will not waver.
