Seedco and Artistic Noise are partnering on a new youth initiative that is actively accepting participant applications.
This is a paid opportunity available to young people between the ages of 16-21 residing in the Washington Heights & Inwood communities of Upper Manhattan. These paid art-making workshops will explore the effects of gun violence and will be facilitated by a professional Teaching Artist and support staff. Youth do not require prior experience with art materials to apply. Seedco and Artistic Noise staff will be on hand to provide information on resume support, entrepreneurship, and job search.
The workshops will take place every Tuesday evening in May at Seedco’s New York office on 513 W 207th St (corner of Post Ave) New York, NY 10034. At the end of the month, the young artists will be celebrated with a public art exhibition highlighting their hard work and creative expression! You can apply by clicking here or scanning the QR code below.
This initiative is sponsored by, and created in collaboration with, the Office of New York State Senator Robert Jackson.
