In May 2016, Seedco was awarded a $1.017 million grant by the Maryland Health Benefit Exchange to continue its valuable work providing consumer healthcare access to residents of the Upper Eastern Shore Region of Maryland. Since 2013, Seedco has led efforts to increase health care access in the region with key partners such as the Eastern Shore AHEC, Triangle Health Alliance, and West Cecil Health Center. Seedco and is partners will continue to reach the most vulnerable uninsured people with public education and culturally-sensitive in-person enrollment. Seedco is honored to continue this important work on behalf of Maryland communities.
