During the week of May 20, Seedco’s program staff from three regions—New York, Baltimore, and Mid-South—came together in Memphis, TN for an intensive training led by the University of Cincinnati Corrections Institute. To aid the implementation of Seedco’s programs serving adults and young adults with criminal justice involvement, staff learned about criminogenic risks, needs assessment, and a curriculum supporting justice-involved individuals to obtain and maintain employment. During the intensive week, staff went through group exercises and used teach-back to reinforce their learning. Staff will apply these evidence-based tools in their daily work supporting and reintegrating justice-involved individuals in New York, Baltimore, and the Mid-South Region.
