“There are a lot of people who have to choose, ‘Do I buy food, electricity or medicine?'” said Lisa Stein, Vice President of Work and Family Supports for Seedco in New York.
Seedco and NeedyMeds started out with 2,000 cards to distribute and will be able to give people PDF copies or printouts in lieu of a card.
