Marlene A. Clarke oversees Seedco’s Baltimore region Workforce programming.  She has experience in both the nonprofit and for profit sectors.  Prior to joining Seedco, she most recently held managerial positions with both government and nonprofit entities serving diverse geographic regions.  Her experience includes providing technical assistance, capacity building support, grant monitoring, and government audits for national organizations, community-based organizations, healthcare and teaching institutions, and correctional institutions in California, Nevada, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, and Washington, DC.  Her experience working with nonprofits and owning her own business in New York City has supported her success in growing Seedco’s partnerships with public and private workforce development stakeholders, inclusive of government entities, business owners-employers, trainers-educators, and wrap-around service providers, with these partnerships advancing Seedco’s vision and mission in Maryland.

Marlene received a BS in Business Administration from Nathaniel Hawthorne College and has studied social work on the graduate level at New York University and Hunter College School of Social Work.
